Yesterday afternoon we headed down to Circulay Quay and Lee jumped on board a Jetcruiser boat.... It's basically a fast speedboat that throws you around... it was quite choppy yesterday so it was a lot of fun.... Last night we went out for dinner at a pub near to us... People seem to get pissed really early in the evening here.. either they all haven't got jobs or this stuff about them being able to handle their drink is all a myth!!!!!
We watched a film last night in the room.... Bride Wars.. it was Lee's choice... hahahahaha..... and the best news of all we actually managed to get to sleep last night quite early...
So the alarm goes at 8.30am this morning (as Lee hadn't booked us on any bloody tours!!!)... We headed down to the Quay for brekky and then we jumped on a ferry to Luna Park (which is a small theme park about 5 mins ferry ride away).... Despite the rain we queued up and got some tickets for the rides.....
The rides were cool.... Lee went on a couple of mental rides.. specifically one that turned upside down (both ways!!!).. Lucy managed to film the whole ride and we'll try amd post it on the blog before we leave Sydney.... We also went on the Carousel with all the little people!!!!!!! It was fun!!!!!!
Luna Park over we jumped on another ferry to the Sydney Olympic Park.. One hour on the boat and a 20 minute bus ride later we were there... Talk about disappointing.... There just wasn't anything there so 10 mins after getting there we jumped on board a train straight back to Sydney Central (which only took 15 mins!!!)...
We went and grabbed some food at Henrys Cafe De Wheels... Basically it's a pie with mash, mushy peas and gravy on top.. it's a bit of a national institution in Aussie... we decided to take them back to the hotel room.. Lee got lots of funny looks as we carried the pies back!!!! They were lovely....
We've just been out to get some stuff from a local supermarket...
It's just gone 5pm here so all you are just probably heading to work in the UK.... have fun!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lee and Lucy, sounds like you are having fun time,with all the theme parks and aquaruim sounded really cool, dad says he would have loved that. cant wait to see your pics.
