Day 4 in Hong.... Getting into the local time zone is still proving to be a bit of a killer.... We were up until gone 4am local time this morning... and consequently didn't get up until midday local time...
We grabbed some brekky in the hotel this morning and thought we'd go out and about exploring the streets of Wan Chai which is the district of Hon Kong island we're staying in!!!!
Have never seen so many people in my life... the streets are so thronged with people here you can hardly move sometimes.... we found a lot of local shops to explore...
We found the local market and had a wander down... lots of live fish stalls... nice!!!! we found a couple of jewellery places and bought a couple of rings....
We then had some lunch and caught one of the local trams... they're great.. old, richety, packed and cheap!!! down to the Race Course..... and wandered back to the hotel to freshen up...
We're just about to go night racing after we write this post.... Should be interesting trying to place bets... hehehehe

Subway we have to walk through from our hotel to get to Times Square
One of the local Government owned building that many of the locals live in
One of the local eateries in Wan Chai... mmmmm what's on the menu... if only we could speak Cantonese
In China we found that if you go into an eatery with a menu there are English translations, but not outside.
