Hong Kong Day 4 - A Night at the Races

So we headed on down to the Happy Valley Race Track which is literally just a 5 minute walk from our hotel!!! We thought we'd head down a couple of hours before the racing was due to start as the guidebook warned to expect queues but no queues we went straight in !!!!

First we had a walk around found the beer garden first lee found that first funny that !!!!! we tried to figure out how to bet we found a list of the 8 races where we could pick which horses we wanted but still couldn't figure out how to fill in the betting card then a guy came over and said can help you we must have looked confused but the nice man explain it to lee on how to do it then we found a seat got a beer and picked out horses then lucy had to explain to lee again how to fill in the betting card we didn't really understand the horse guide as to which horse was better than the other so we went by names.....

The first race and our horse came in... a whole HK$17.50 we won... woo hooooo...... There were 8 races in all and we won on one more before heading back to the hotel about 11.....
