Day 3 in Hong Kong

nei ho ma???? Apparently that's how are you in the local lingo!!! Day 3.... still not adjusted to the local time we managed to wake up at 11am this morning.... We headed out for brekky and stopped at the local 7 eleven so Lee could get his daily stock of Tsingtao!!!! (local beer)

Main highlight today was a Hong Kong Island Tour... We were picked up in the hotel by our tour guide... Ming.. (nickname Steve!!!) at 2.30pm... we hooked up with the others on the tour (Kiwies and Aussies.. good chance to quiz the Aussies about Auz)... and our driver Tat... drove us up to the Peak.... so we could stop and take some pictures....

We then headed over to Aberdeen Fishing Village where we had a boat ride on a local fishing boat around the harbour by one of the locals... got some nice pics.....

We then headed over to a local jewellery factory where they showed us how the stuff was made and then tried to flog is to us..... We were constantly followed around but for some reason they seemed to disappear when we explained we'd left the visa card back at the hotel room... strange that!!!!

We then headed over to Stanley Market to check out some of the local stuff before being picked up and taken back to the hotel......

A good bit of banter with the tour guide about Fung Shui ensued on the way back.. he explained that it's bad luck in Feng Shui to face things like Graveyards and Freeways from your hotel window.. We explained that's the view that we have.. he asked what we did.. so we said "Drew the Curtains"...

Ps - this doesn't mean goodbye, but Two Beers Please. you never know you might need it one day!!!!

The Jumbo Floating restaurant... apparently it seats 2000 people at any one time and is owned by one of the richest dudes in HK... Stanley Ho

Stanley Market..... a bit of a letdown
