Hello There,
So we are now in the USA after having had the longest weekend ever.. You see we went back in time 20 hours on Sunday so we had groundhog day... We did the flight from Auckland in 2 parts, 12 hours to LA and then 90 mins on to San Fran after a couple of hours wait at LA.. All in all flights were ok with plenty of films to keep us entertained....
Once we got off at San Fran we got our shuttle to the hotel where we are staying which is a Travelodge near the bay.. Crashed out for about 4 hours when we got here, went out to get some food, stayed up too about midnight and then slept through to 10am this morning, so hopefully we are now over the jetlag...
Today we have been on a Segway tour which was fab... We had 30 mins training to get used to it.. Felt very strange at first as they are very sensitive to your body movements... Once we were all comfortable we went out on a 2 hour tour around the bay area.. (pics below)..
We are off out for an italian tonight.. Tomorrow we check out of our hotel and go across town to another one.. Technically our tour starts tomorrow but nothing really happens the first day so we are going to go on a wine tasting tour for the afternoon..
So far San Francisco rocks!!!
