Kaikoura and Wellington

Hello There,

We are now in Wellington and only have a few days left in NZ until we fly to USA!!! So the last few days in a nutshell..

We left Lake Tekapo on Sunday very early - 7.30am to head to Kaikoura.. Was a pretty boring travelling day to be honest as there were not many scenic stops and we got to Kaikoura about 3.30pm.. We went to a seal colony that was cool as there were seals laying by the side of the road that we got good close up pics of..

We had Fush n Chups for tea that night. The next morning we were supposed to go fishing but it got cancelled as the sea was too rough which was a shame.. So we had a lazy morning, had a mooch around town in the afternoon and then spent the money for the fishing trip on a poncy meal in the evening (Steak with Quinoa christ!!!)... The food was nice and the restaurant had a lovely AMBIENCE....

The next day we left for Wellington, first a drive to Picton then we got on the Ferry which was quite bumpy and we got into the hostel about 5pm.. we cooked Spag Bol for tea.. Today we have been to the Tepapa museum which was interesting... Tonight we are off out for a Thai Meal..

Leave tomorrow for Taupo..

Lots of Love

JESSIE AND SHAUN - A LOVE STORY!!!

Jane who has been travelling with us has bought 2 toy sheep that she has named Jessie and Shaun.. The following pics are not suitable for a family audience and are what happen when you leave 2 bored people (Lee and Lucy) in a hostel (Lake Tekapo) with you sheep and camera unattended with not much to do.. All very childish but it made us laugh!!!
