Hello,
We are now in Lake Tekapo.. We left Dunedin this morning at about 8am.. we were first pick up so pick of the seats on the bus which was good, though the bus wasn't that packed today, only 24 or so of us...
First stop was Baldwin Street which is the steepest residential street in the world.. We both walked up it and it was bloody steep.. (see pics below).. Then we stopped by the beach at the Big Rocks on the beach and had coffee, whipped into Omaru for lunch (Subway), stopped by the Mount Cook lookout and checked into our hostel about 3.30pm..
We're staying in the YHA again.. it's pretty small and intimate which is cool... Only here for 1 night and then we leave at 7.30am tomorrow morning for Kaikoura...
Lots of Love
Lee and Lucy xxxx
PS - We have played the NZ Lotto tonight.. jackpot 17 million NZD.. so we may fly home first class... lol!!!!!
