Niagara Falls Baby!!

Hello everyone,

So the last couple of days we have been travelling a lot on the coach and been to Niagara Falls.. We left Washington yesterday morning (Sunday) at 7.30am as we had a long long way to travel.. Basically we spent most of the time on the bus, we had a few stops on the way and the weather was hot hot hot..

We got over the Canada border.. (another stamp in the passport) and got to our hotel in Niagara Falls Michael’s inn about 7pm.. Hotel was nothing flash and probably the worst we have stayed in so far.. we were literally staying about 5 minutes walk from the falls so went and had a walk over to see what was around..

This morning we left the hotel about 8.30am and stopped off at Table Rock to get some pics of the falls before we went on the “Maid of the Mist” cruise.. The boat went right near the falls.. it was amazing and the highlight of the trip so far.. lots of good pics and videos below..

Afterwards we went to look at some of the Niagara Parks Commission land and stopped off for lunch at a Farmers Market.. lots of fresh food, made a nice change from the fast food that tends to be available at our break stops.. We stopped off at duty free at the border brought some vino for later at the hotel because last night at the hotel they had closed the Bar and Restaurant because there wasn’t enough demand not impressed so tonight we are prepared BYO !!!!!

Tonight we are staying in Detroit, only for one night was we are off to the Windy city (Chicago) tomorrow, can’t wait!! We also get to stay for 2 nights which is good.. We stop off at the Henry Ford museum on the way..

Just had room service at the hotel with the bottle of wine we bought at duty free. Twas nice!!
