Minneapolis and Pierre

Hello

Day 2 in Minneapolis had a little lay in didn’t have to be on the coach until 9am for our city tour which lasted around 2 hours or so we saw the cathedral and a few sculptures not sure what they were or what they are for all I could think about was the Mall Of America and what shops they may have !!!! we also stopped and saw the capital building these capital buildings we have seen in capital cities of each state we have been in its where the state governments do business there are beautiful buildings the guys that design them are very clever people…

After the city tour we headed the Mall Of America it was massive 4 floors of shops and restaurants and still I can’t believe there was a theme park in the middle of the shopping mall crazy but the four hours went buy so quickly but I did manage to buy a hand bag and a t-shirt and jewellery and keying I was very happy with our shopping trip we also managed to have lunch and a coffee whilst we were there.

The coach picked us up at 3.30 pm got back to the hotel around 4pm had time to relax after all that shopping and get showered and dressed for dinner we were going out for a group meal on the Mississippi River boat the wine was good but the food was crap !!!! we had buffet style dinner we were not the only group on the boat probably around 150 ish luckily they sent one table at a time to the buffet table but the food was not good we have salad bowl , mixed veg, cannelloni stuffed with cheese, and some kind of meat with gravy and veg but that tasted like fish to me not good at all but never mind we had to eat it we were hungry oh the best but was cupcakes for dessert they were nice the cruise lasted 2 hours we to the hotel around 9.45 ish.

Early start today had to be on the coach at 7.30 this morning making our way to Pierre in South Dakota on the way we stopped at a corn factory, called the Corn Palace in Mitchell. We had some lunch (nachos, bbq pork sandwich and corn on the cob).. This evening we got to our hotel about 6pm and went for a little walk around the town and got some tea from the local supermarket, hot chicken, salad and a bottle of vino..
Off again tomorrow to Keystone, busy day tomorrow, Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore and Dinner and a visit to Crazy Horse in the evening… yee haahh!!
