Just a quick note to let you know we have got to Barcelona. Long day today, 7am alarm, 8.30am on the bus.. stopped off a couple of times on the way and got to Barcelona about 1pm.. got dropped off at Las Ramblas (main street, 1.5km long) and had some lunch, a subway.... mm most veg we have had for a while (except for the salad at dinner last night)... Las Ramblas was bloody mental, so many people... after lunch we had a guided tour of the city (coach and walking).. it pissed it down but was very impressive.... got to the hotel about an hour ago.. already been out to stock up on cheap wine and beer from local supermarket.... We're off back to Las Ramblas tonight for a group tapas meal, should be good fun... We have a bike ride tour of the city tomorrow at 11am for 3 or 4 hours.. so thankfully have a bit of a lie in... We will get some pics up at some point over the next couple of days.. we leave on Sunday morning for Avignon, France.. so no more speaking Spanish..

ReplyDeleteSince when have you ever spoken Spanish Lee? And onions don't count. Missing you like mad. BBQ at Patsy's tomorrow wish you were here. Lucy we got the missing statements :-) apparently the insurance company paid 9000 euros to repair the railings!
