Leaning Tower of Pisa Baby

Bonjourno !!!!

we have arrived in Italy today!!!!!
But first yesterday we had a free day in Nice, France early start as we had to have a group breakfast at 8.30 then we headed out to the laundarette to do our washing as clean clothes and undies were running out fast it was funny beause you can also get free wifi internet in there out of the 21 people in our tour group i think 12 of us were in the laundarette together so we spent about hour and a half in there washing and drying clothes and uploading 50 pictures on the blog !! after that we went for a walk along the beach front had alook around the shops, had some lunch in McDonalds we got alittle wet as it did rain for about half an hour on the walk into town but when the sun came out it was really hot.
a funny story for you lee walks pass a shop and saw a nice pair of shorts and a sign saying 2 items for 10 euros in french well so he thought thats what it said after trying a few pairs on and finding a second item to get the deal he goes to the till and i said to him check you have read the sign correctly i think you can guess where this story is going thats not what the sign said it actually said any 2 items and 10 euros off the total which was 64 euros after the lady had scan them through the till and told lee the price he just said im not paying that and walked out of the shop !!! hahahahahaha
had a quiet evening last night as long day on the bus today got a pizza from a take away place and half a bottle of wine which was lovely.

Today we started out on the bus at 9.30 took 5 and half hours to get to pisa our first stop took some photos and had a coffee, laughed at the bling bling boys (aficans) selling fake sun glasses watches and handbags !!!! the leaning tower of pisa was nice to see didnt get a chance to go the the top as the q's were to big and we only had an hour there before back on the bus to our hotel in prato just outside florence.

When we started our bus trip this morning vanessa our tour guide set us a challenge there are alot on tunnels between france and italy and our pisa stop the challenge was count them or just guess how many we went through well i did count them for the forst 2 and half hours got 120 we stopped for lunch and when we got back on the bus well i just could not be arsed to count anymore so when we left pisa vanessa asked us to write our names and guess's on a piece of paper and see who was the closet as i'd stopped counting at 120 i just had a guess and wrote down 155 well guess what i only bloody won i got the closest the answer was 154 and a half the half is the first tunnell we went through which the 1st half is in france and the 2nd is in italy but i won a nice bottle red wine !! the down side is we dont have a cork screw to open it doh !!!

We are staying about 20k's outside of Florence in a small town called Prato, we didn't here until about 6pm.. Just went over the supermarket to get some dinner off the hot counter (roast chicken and potatoes) and a bottle of wine for a euro (yee hah!!).. as did most of the tour group.. We are up early tomorrow and have a full day out in Florence and have a group meal there as well... Then on Friday we are off to Rome.. all go!!!!
