Franz Josef glacier walk !!!!!

Hello,

We had a nice dinner last night we cooked at the hostel we cooked chicken stir fry it was lovely oh and a glass of wine !!!

We had a good night in the hostel no noise which makes a change and we had lay in we got up at 9am had brekky and jump on the shuttle bus to go to the glaciers there are many walks around the area there we got there around 11am and where there until 3pm it was amazing the walk over the rocks to get to the base of the glacier was hard work it took about 40 mins but once there was well worth it the view was fantastic you can see from the pics below !!!!!

We did two other walks in the area Peters Pool was good when you look at the pic you can see the reflection of the glacier pretty cool.

We also walked up a very very steep hill track to get to a view point if of the glacier was a great view but going up was hard work !!!!

We are now back at hostel feeling Knackered !!!!!!

We have an early start tomorrow 8am on the bus heading towards Queenstown
we have a few stops on the way for brekky and afternoon tea and other stuff but not sure what will find out tomorrow and update you all tomorrow on the blog we dont arrive in Queenstown until 5PM ish.

PS Dad (Trevor) i had a thought today we forgot to give you the books back that we lent lee before we came away they are in the glove box of the Clio really sorry !!!!

PPS Malta Sounds great Rachel Im sure you both will have a fab time !!!

PPPS Alison lee hadnt been drinking on the dancing video just messing about in a very cold hostel room in christchurch !!!!!!

PPPPS We are sitting in the lounge area doing the blog listening to some funky 80's tunes when a Fecking German walks in and turns the radio off like he owns the place !!!!!!! NOT HAPPY lee says ah well at least we won the War !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lee didnt fancy walking the Bridge as the warning sign says only 5 persons at a time !!!
