We are in New Zealand

Hello There,

So we have left Aus and are now in New Zealand. We got to Auckland about 9.10pm, we are now
13 hours ahead of the UK

Friday February 17

This afternoon we had booked an tour on are see sydney cards, we had to meet the coach at 1.30pm at Circular Quey near the Opera house so we had a good lay in today, the tour started by driving over harbour bridge which was cool then we stopped for a photo over looking the bridge andopera house, then we drove to manly beach where we had an hour and a half to walk around they had the Surf and Skating compettions on so the place was really busy we had a wander along the beach then found a coffee shop to have coffee and a cookie !!! mmmmmm lol On the way back into the city we stopped off at a couple of view points that over looked different parts of the city which was nice to see it at different places to know how big it is.

Tonight we went back to our local pub the crown we have been there many times now it serves really nice food and the wine is cheap !!!!

Saturday February 18

Our last day in Sydney... aaahhhhh.... We were meeting up with some of the people we travelled Europe with again.. Walt and Karen picked us up at the hotel at 10am and we drove out to Palm Beach which is where they film Home and Away... It took us about an hour to get there
and we got some pics including one of me and Lucy outside the "Summer Bay Lifesurfing Club"... LIVING THE DREAM OR WHAT... We met up with Shelly from the tour and hey boyfriend Stephan..

After a few more tourist snaps we went to the Golf Club for lunch... we even had to sign in (posh!!)... The food was good and Lee even had an Oyster.... After lunch we drove over to a lookout point at Manly and then headed back to the hotel about 5ish.. Was a little
bit sad saying goodbye to the guys but I am sure we will see them again one day...

Then we had to packup and do boring stuff and set an early alarm as were leaving the hotel at 6am...

Sunday February 19

Up at 5.15am as we were leaving at 6am in a taxi to Sydney Airport.. First off we were getting on a flight to Christchurch and then another one to Auckland.. (long story Lee booked so say no more lol!!)...

We landed on time in Auckland at 8.20 and we were checked into our YHA by ten past nine... only here for 1 night then we are off to the Bay of Islands tomorrow on the magis buses
