Gday....
Hows it going?? It's 1am in the morning and we're wide awake in Brisbane so we thought we'd put a post on!!!! We did try and put one on this morning but to describe the FREE HOTEL WIFI as shit and slow would be an understatement!!!!
So back to yesterday afternoon.... Our plans for the trip have completely changed from what we first thought (which just goes to show all those people who said before hand don't too much were right!!!).... We're thinking about going back into Asia at some point so we went to the travel doctors yesterday for what we just thought was a consultation....
30 minutes after our appointment was due to start we're in... The so called consultation with the doctor was just that ... so called.... he collected us from the waiting room and took us to the nurse... and all for the privelege of 45 bucks each!!!
The nurse was great and ran us through what injections we would need.... We just thought it would be a consultation and then appointments for injections later on... however the nurse goes to get the injections ready and the look on Lucy's face was a picture,,,, (NOT IN A FUNNY WAY!!!!)....
3 injections later (one for Lucy and two for Lee)... and we're out the door.... We skipped back to the hotel and had some dinner at the restaurant.... The nurse has warned us earlier that our arms may ache... THAT WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! at one point neither of us could move cos it hurt so much!!!!
Today we've spent a lot of time thinking about what to do after Cairns... After much looking around we think we're roughly going to do the following (could change as it has 20 times already!!!)....
* May 21st fly to Melbourne for 10 days
* May 31st we're flying to Christchurch in New Zealand
We're not sure how much time we going to spend in New Zealand and we're thinking about going to Fiji as well....
We have a flight booked from Perth to Singapore on July 12 (as it was an absolute bargain!!!).... not sure yet of plans once we go back to Asia..... that's ages away!!!!

Hi guys, ouch....hope you are both recovering from your vaccinations! So you are having a change of plans, guess thats half the fun of it, you can please yourself where you go. Fiji sounds lovely. Nan in Somerset did a lot of travelling when she was younger, she did a round the world trip, and I remember seeing all her slides, in those days they didnt have digital! Anyway Fiji still sticks in my mind as being such a beautiful country. We are having fun back at home with a broken electricity meter and dealing with a crap company called N Power, you thought 3 call centre was bad Lee, well they are streets ahead of N Power!!!!!Needless to say Tom is on the verge of hysteria thinking we might not have any hot water for a bath!!!!Missing you, lots of love, Mum, Dad, Tom and Chris xxxx
