Gday...
Sorry mum (Alison) to hear about the broken electricity meter..... So we left Brisso this morning... Being insomniacs and not crashing until 3am last night we got up as late as we could for a 10am checkout... We trotted on down to the bus station for some brekky and to kill some time before the bus left at 12pm...
It took us five hours to get to Hervey Bay and the bus journey was good.... Our first impression weren't brilliant but we knew we had a bit of a walk (understatement as it turns out!!!).. to our accomadation..... an HOUR AND 20 MINUTES LATER of trudging our backpacks we arrived where we were staying (Shelley bay Resort)...
We've only been here 2 hours and we love it..... we're staying in what can only be described as a very big one bedroom flat, with it's own balcony looking onto the beach and a separate bedroom and living area... OOOHHHHHHH (we'll get some pics up of it!!!)....
We've just had a lovely Indian meal in the restaurant next door sitting outside.....
