Gday,
Sorry for not posting the last couple of days its been a little mental !!!
ok going back to saturday didnt do much during the day pack and sort things out to leave for New Zealand on the sunday saturday evening we went to see PINK OMG it was amazing we have pics and videos but you will have to wait for those !!! we were standing so close to the stage it was amazing words cannot describe it !!!!!!!
early start sunday morning being pick up at 7am to take us to airport and thats where he fun started !!!! we go to check in desk we were flying with Virgin blue which is a low cost air line anyway at the desk the girl ask for our visas for new zealand lee says we dont need them only on holiday then she asks for our flight details for when we leave new zealand we didnt have them with us lee has a email with the details on so we had to find somewhere to print nightmare we managed to talk our way into one of the first class lounges to just quickly use the internet and print the ticket off that was easy but the printer wasnt working correctly we managed to print some of it enough detail back to the check in desk this is after being at the airport for half an hour now !!! a different lady goes through the whole thing again we give her the prints she ask to see the next flight details which we dont have with us by this point we both are starting to get stressed !!! Lucy says in her stern but calm voice that if the first lady would have said this half an hour ago we would have printed it and the same time lee says but that flight is with you can you not call it up on the system which she agrees and does !!!!! lucy is taking deep breaths to not loose it completely lee is getting very stressed with her as well!!!!!!!! but another 20mins later we are checked in !!!!!! lucy was starting to think this travelling lark is to much like hard work !!!!
anyway all that over we board the flight it takes about 3 hours and we arrive get off the plane and OMG !!!! some bastard turned the heating off it is F**king cold here !!!!! its was 1 degree here yesterday !!!!!!!!!
the hostel we are staying in is Basic !!! cold smells funny but we have a tv in the room !!!!!
we lave here tomorrow and start our travels around the south island !!!!!

The Great Ocean Road
Gday...
We're knackered... after a 7am pick up this morning, we've just got back at 9pm.... The Ocean Road tour was great... we've got loads of fab pics and stories that we'll put up as soon as we can...
Just thought we'd drop you a quick note to say hi!!!

Lay In !!!!!
Gday,
Hows it all going ??
Today we did nothing Lee woke us up at 4am to watch the football we wont mention that !!!! and then after it finish we did manage to sleep again but didnt get up until 1pm hehehe a major lay in !!!! and thats it we did nothing.................. had take away for tea pizza delivered to our hotel room door was well cool !!!!

It's Raining in Melbourne!!!
Gday,
Hows you all going???!!!!!
It's raining here and cold today which is a shame because up to now we had really good weather... Sssoooooooo it's 4.30pm in the afternoon here....
This morning we headed over to the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) for a guided tour (as we got it as paer of our See Melbourne Cards!!!).... The tour lasted about an hour and we got to walk on the pitch, see the dressing rooms, media rooms e.t.c. We were the only 2 on the tour!!! Lucy found it quite boring and predictably Lee loved here....
Next stop we headed over to the Rod Laver Arena (where they play the Australian Open Tennis) to pick up our Pink tickets for Saturday night..... We were going to take a cruise up the river and go to a Planetarium this afternoon but the heavens open so what were we to do!!! Well the only thing we could do of course...
Find an electronics store, buy a DVD player, take it back to the travelodge and watch the Neighbours DVD's we bought the other day after our tour... what's more the last thing the shop assistant said to us was
"If you decide for any reason you don't want it within 14 days, just bring it back for a refund!!!"
That badboy is going back on Saturday then!!! hehehehehehehehehe.....
Not too much planned for the rest of today.... We've got a couple of things planned for the city tomorrow (weather permitting) and then we're heading on a tour all day Friday on the Great Ocean Road.. 7am pickup and we don't get back to the hotel until about 9pm.. should be fun!!!!
It's the European Cup Final tonight, Man U V Barcelona tonight.. or tomorrow morning in our case..... Lee will be getting up at 4am to watch it!!!
Here's hoping the blog post tomorrow is a happy one!!!!

THE BEARD'S CULTRAL DAY OUT IN MELBOURNE!!!!
Gday..
Well we have had a very busy day today!!! The Beard's got cultral today we went to the Melbourne Museum & Art Gallery what what what what!!!!! It was a bit, well musuemy for our liking!!!! We even lasted 20 minutes there...
But back to the beginning of the day, first stop we headed to the Eureka Skydeck which is just around the corner from our hotel..... It's the tallest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere!!!! the views were amazing and we got plenty of pics.. some of them below..... They also had an edge experience where you hang over the edge of the building in a see through box....But we didn't have the time (or the stomach for that!!!)....
Next stop the Carlton Brewery for a tour at midday... the tour lasted 90 minutes and was actually really interesting... and the best bit you got to taste four beers after the tour.... Slightly pissed (due to no food since brekky and a less that normal alcohol consumption recently) we headed to the Melbourne Musuem... As we said above, it was museumy but the dinosaur bit was cool!!!
Next stop an Old Melbourne Gaol (Jail!!!) which was in use until 1994 but not any more!!! we had a little look around and then went in the watch house (a waiting jail) where we were treated as if we had been arrested... think strict Sargeant and being locked in a dark cell for 5 minutes (no we're not kidding!!!) and you're pretty much there... We got separated up in different cells.... Kinda weird and creepy!!!!!!!

We had a late start today got up around 10am had brekky and relaxed un till 12 when we were being pick up for our afternoon tour...
We went to the dandenong region which is about an hour outside of melbourne we stop half way to feed the birds and have some billy tea and lamington cakes it was lovely the cake is sponge cake with a jam centre and coated with chocolate and coconut mmmmm after that we drove to the top of the Dandenongs to the viewing point and looked our over melbourne was nice alittle cloudy and after about 20 mins there it started raining !!!!!!
we have pics will put them up toimorrow there are great ones on lee feeding the birds one sat on his arm it was well funny....

Everybody Needs Good Neighbous!!! (and all Melbourne pics so far!!)
Gday...
Hows you all going..??? This is the first of 2 posts today as we're putting all the pics on so scroll below for the Cairns piccies....
Today was the day we did the Neighbours Tour...... A late start this morning (6.45am).. as we were on the morning tour heading to Ramsay Street.... So we rock up, check in and after a little wait we're on our way.... On the way there we watched am old Neighbours episode on DVD... The tour guide was very good and entertained us with lots of facts about the show...
Half an hour we're on the street.. First it isn't called Ramsay Street (it's called Pine Oak Court) and it's loads smaller than it looks on the TV.... We took a few pics and posed with the sign (see pics below) and then we headed off to Lassiters complex....
Again it's way smaller than it looks on the TV but we had a good look round and took plenty of pics... Tour over we headed back to the city and watched a couple more episodes on the way.... They had a past actor from Neighbours to meet us back in the city for pics and autographs but we didn't recognise her so we bought a couple of dvd's and headed back....
We've also arranged a little outing for Saturday night... We're going to see Pink at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne (where they play the Aussie Open Tennis)... We're standing in the Funhouse (guess that's Pink's version of the Moshpit!!!).... Needless to say Lucy is very very very excited!!!!!!
